For the Apprentice, Mentor/Employer and Tutor

WEEKLY TASKS

Apprentice

Log any development and learning that has taken place (Off the Job training) and work towards completing any work set by their tutor, including Functional Skills.

Mentor/Employer

Support the apprentice with development opportunities and remind them to record these in their Off the Job training log.

Tutor

Be available for ad hoc support.

MONTHLY TASKS

Apprentice

Complete any work set by the tutor, including Functional Skills, and ensure any sessions are attended.

Mentor/Employer

Continue to support the apprentice with development opportunities and remind them to record these in their Off the Job training log.

Tutor

Arrange specific support sessions with the apprentice to feedback on work submitted and set the next targets for completion. Review Functional Skills progress where applicable.

10-12 WEEKLY TASKS

Apprentice

Attend Progress Review and Planning meeting to review how the course is going to date. This includes ensuring all outstanding work is completed, Off the Job training logs are up to date, and considering what the next 3 months of learning might involve.

Mentor/Employer

Contribute towards the Progress Review and Planning meeting to help identify areas of support and discuss any specific development needs to focus on.

Tutor

Arrange Progress Review and Planning meeting. Provide feedback to the Apprentice and employer on how the Apprentice is progressing, check progress against targets, check Off the Job training logs are up to date and plan for the next 3 months of delivery.
